Holographic battle drone

Hey, um... hey you!

The holographic battle drones are technology from the Super-God Masterforce portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The "holographic battle drones" are employed by the Autobots whenever they need to train some of their troops but cannot risk getting them hurt too much. Using holographic technology, the Autobots can create representations of theoretical threats the soldiers could potentially face some day. While obstacles of various types can be put into the scenarios, the core part tends to feature a large Autobot drone as adversary.

The Autobot Headmaster Juniors were sent to the Ocean Research Institute of California to become familiar with their new abilites under guidance of Diver. Diver took them to a deserted piece of land, where he subjected each of them to a holographic scenario they had to overcome.

Shūta was first to show what skill he already possessed. As he sped over a holographic road, he was attacked by two armored vehicle drones. Shūta kept his cool and tricked them into destroying each other. After this, he came face to face with a giant drone riding an equally large truck. The drone swiped and shot at him, but Shūta still defeated it.

Next was Cab, whose scenario took place in a burning city. While he was trying to extinguish the flames, the same giant Shūta had battled previously attacked him. Cab transformed and shot it to pieces, but far slower than Diver considered acceptable.

Lastly, it was Minerva's turn to show her worth as an Autobot. The first task in her scenario was saving a puppy from drowning, but once she did so, she was attacked by a large fish-whale-aquatic thing drone. Diver advised her to aim for its central tooth, as that was its weak point. Minerva shot it, making the drone disappear. Of course, then her scenario still contained a waterfall she failed to react to in a timely manner, which earned her a lecture from Diver. Rage!! Little Devils with No Need for Rules
