Hover-billboard

In the technological city of Detroit, airships are used as hover-billboards, floating high in the sky so they can spread the sponsor's message as far as possible. They're also surprisingly good for giant robots to stand on.

[edit]During the battle for the AllSpark with Starscream, Optimus Prime sprayed foam in the Decepticon's face and they crashed into a hover-billboard advertising Sumdac Systems. Following the AllSpark's opening, Optimus was left momentarily clinging to the side of the billboard with his axe before losing his grip. Transform and Roll Out
After the Wraith's fall from grace, a hover-billboard sported the likeness of Optimus Prime, welcoming people to the city. Several of them were present over Michigan Stadium during a football game. The Wraith, annoyed at Bumblebee upstaging him, hijacked a hover-billboard and used its broadcast system to create a holographic illusion of the Autobot attacking the crowd. When the real Bumblebee turned up and used his stingers to zap the hover-billboard's systems, the Wraith tried to ram him with it, only for Bulkhead and Ratchet to bring it to a halt. Blitzwing and Lugnut observed humanity from the side of a Sumdac Systems hover-billboard. Then Lugnut got a message from Megatron telling him to go find the AllSpark Key, and the pair flew off. Lost and Found Much later, while Lugnut and Blitzwing were stealing the Elite Guard ship's tachyon transmitter, Starscream spied on them while concealed on a nearby hover-billboard. Mission Accomplished Shortly after coming online and in search of a hint as to who he was, Wreck-Gar spotted a hover-billboard advertising the Detroit police department. Garbage In, Garbage Out While testing his new jetpack, Optimus looped around a hover-billboard a couple of times before crashing into the ground. It was not a very successful test. Endgame, Part I
