Idea & Design Works Custom Wheels is a normal, ordinary custom shop in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It is most certainly not a Machination front where they manufacture decoys of Transformers, no siree.

Fiction

2005 IDW continuity

At Idea & Design Works Custom Wheels, the Machination used Ultralite alloy bought from Ultralite America to create a decoy of Sunstreaker so they could abduct him without the other Autobots noticing.

The custom shop was later tracked down by Verity Carlo and Jimmy Pink, who checked Ultralite America's customer database. Escalation #3 With Ratchet and Ironhide, the humans went to the shop and Verity and Jimmy went inside to investigate, finding a secret basement filled with advanced technology. Unfortunately, they activated a booby trap that used gas to knock them out and set a self-destruct timer. Escalation #4 Worried about the two, Ratchet sent his holomatter avatar to check on them and found that they activated the trap. Escalation #5 With Ratchet cutting through the ceiling, Ironhide used his avatar to bring the humans to safety. The two Transformers sped out of the building just in time before it exploded.
