The Indy 500 presumably involves a number of speeding automobiles on a road.

A hitchhiker was waiting for a ride on a highway on the side of Mount St. Hilary when he heard the Autobots speeding down the road, remarking that it couldn't be done by one car and compared the sound to the Indy 500. The Transformers

Later, when the Autobots again sped down a road, a policeman drove up to them, telling the driver of one of the vehicles that it wasn't the Indy 500 and to pull over. Gears subsequently told the policeman to get lost. Prisoner of War!
