Ion discs were the weapon of choice for both Manterror and Buzzclaw. Interestingly, each Predacon used their weapons very differently. The smaller Buzzclaw was capable of generating ion discs from the knives on his gauntlets, which were capable of paralyzing his opponents. Beast Wars Sourcebook Manterror on the other hand stored his ion discs inside his forelimbs, where they took up considerably more space. Beast Wars: Uprising

Buzzclaw finished off several of his opponents in the games using his ion discs, usually by targeting their heads. Head Games The Man Terror also utilized ion disks during the battle at Tesarus Arena, causing Blackout and Spaceshot to separate their combined form, if not how he had intended. Micro-Aggressions

Notes

• Buzzclaw and Manterror's function is "Quick Attack Specialist", and both toy's bios state that they use "ion discs", suggesting that Buzzclaw is Manterror, somehow reborn as a Fuzor. Either way, Manterror and Buzzclaw appear as separate individuals in all of their appearances in fiction.
