Ironhide is an Autobot from One.
Finally back in a movie and with dialogue too, now if only I had a credited voice.

Despite his lowly status as a mere cogless miner, Ironhide has both the courage and the noble spark to step up and defend his comrades in the face of injustice.

A cogless miner working in the same sector as Orion Pax and D-16 under the command of Elita-1, Ironhide made a hasty escape when an unstable energon vein struck by Wheeljack caused the mineshaft to catastrophically collapse. The next day he attended the Iacon 5000, watching from the bleachers and reacting with surprised elation as Arcee pointed out that Orion and D-16 were also competing in the race.

Later, when Darkwing ordered the miners to work their 23rd straight shift as instructed by Sentinel Prime, Ironhide stood up against the larger bot and argued against the punishing work schedule the miners were being forced to endure. Darkwing ignored his arguments and attempted to beat him up for his disobedience, but a returning Orion knocked Darkwing out before he could. Ironhide was present for the inspiring speech Orion gave that convinced the miners to take up arms and join the battle above to fight against Sentinel's corrupt regime.

After Orion—now rechristened Optimus Prime—rejuvenated Cybertron's energon supply with the Matrix of Leadership and returned all the miners' transformation cogs, Ironhide was among the crowd receiving their cogs, gaining new physical changes such as a windshield on his chest and a more pronounced head crest. Blokees

[edit]
  • Ironhide (Galaxy Version, 2024)
  • Series: Galaxy Version 05 - One
  • Accessories: 2 open hands, pistol, spare balljoint piece, stand
Blokees Ironhide is a 4.25 inch tall non-transforming buildable figure, appearing once in every case of nine blind boxes. Like the rest of his wave, Ironhide features an upgraded suite of standard body parts, with sturdier pre-assembled hinge joints and slightly more complex builds, such as the color-coded face and eyes introduced in the second wave. He also features a new pair of forearm parts with underslung peg holes (meant for placing the Tracker's arm-mounted guns) instead of being outwards on the side. Ironhide includes the usual pairs of gripping fists and open hands, a laser pistol, and a two-studded connectable figure stand.
If you're a speed builder, be mindful when attaching the pre-assembled joints; Unlike the symmetrical joints from earlier waves, the pegs on both ends of these joints are designed to connect to specific pieces; The tabs with slightly smaller holes are intended for the upper arms and thighs, while the regular tabs are meant for the forearms and lower legs. While an incorrect knee joint assembly may cause it to very slightly lean when standing straight or in an A-stance, an incorrect elbow assembly won't be noticeably affected unless you're looking very closely.
Ironhide shares his body parts with wave-mate Hound, effectively a new-head redeco of his fellow miner.

  • Ironhide (Champion Class, 2025)
  • ID number: 19
  • Accessories: 2 pairs of hands (grip, open palm), Blaster, 2 figure stands, 2 energy effects, Optimus Prime vehicle
Released as part of Blokees' Classic Class kits, Ironhide is a 4.5-inch-tall non-transforming Deluxe/Prime Changer-sized Gunpla-style model kit with some pre-painted parts on the runners. He also features a torso frame that lights up upon shaking (or at least lightly tapping some areas on the torso), causing his eye to glow for a limited time. While the pieces are molded on a touch-gate runner for easy removal of parts without nippers or tools, the former is required for a cleaner cut. Like Shockwave and Soundwave, Ironhide features additional articulation such as the forward-swing shoulder joints, the double-jointed elbows, a pull-down hip joint axis, and slightly improved 140-degree knee joints.

Notes

[edit]
  • Ironhide's profile in the Transformers One Sourcebook is marked as as "non-canon", presumably meaning it's not reconcilable with the universe of the Transformers One film; we've covered it on his wiki page for completion's sake.
