J.K. Simmons

Jonathan Kimble Simmons (born January 9, 1955) is an American actor. He is best known for his performance as J. Jonah Jameson in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man Trilogy, a role so universally beloved, he was brought back to reprise the role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as a variety of other media ranging from animated movies to The Simpsons. Other well-known roles of his include his Oscar-winning performance as Terence Fletcher in Whiplash, Vernon Schillinger on Oz, B.R in Thank You for Smoking, Mac MacGuff in Juno, Commissioner James Gordon in Justice League, Will Pope on The Closer, Dr. Emil Skoda on Law & Order, Bill in La La Land, the CIA Director in Burn After Reading, Ivo Shandor in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and his recurring appearances in the Farmers Insurance commercials.
As a voice actor, he is best known for voicing the titular character in Klaus, General Wade Eiling in Justice League Unlimited, White Knight in Generator Rex, Cave Johnson in Portal 2, Tenzin in The Legend of Korra, Ford Pines in Gravity Falls, Mayor Leodore Lionheart in Zootopia, Lenny Turtletaub in BoJack Horseman, Kai in Kung Fu Panda 3, Seizaemon in Pom Poko, The Warden in Megamind, Omni-Man/Nolan Grayson on Invincible, Captain Putty in the Chip N' Dale: Rescue Rangers film, and of course reprising his role as J. Jonah Jameson in numerous Marvel cartoons.
He also has been the long-running voice of the Yellow M&M in the M&M commercials which is how he has currently so far been involved in the franchise.
