Introducing JD Red Knight!

Synopsis

[edit]

Bumblebee fights Lockdown in a plain, but he's no match for the bounty hunter and promptly gets his diodes kicked. A recon drone records the scene and transmits it to an Autobot headquarters-slash-Hasbro toy factory(?!), prompting JD Red Knight to roll out with Optimus Prime, a squadron of airborne drones, and a trailer containing a mysterious purple energy source. Arriving in the battlefield in truck mode, Red Knight deploys Joy and loads the energy source onto him before sending the canine minion to assist Bumblebee. He and Optimus then transform to robot mode to destroy some enemy drones. Meanwhile, Joy successfully delivers his payload to Bumblebee, who absorbs it and uses its power to unleash a pulse wave that blows Lockdown off his feet. Victorious, Red Knight and the Autobots take a moment to pat each other on the back. <ref>JD Red Knight commercial on JD's Facebook page</ref>

Notes

[edit]

Transformers references

[edit]
  • The factory headquarters JD Red Knight and Optimus roll out from has production lines full of Robots in Disguise Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and Sideswipe toys. While all of them reuse their character models instead of being based on a specific toy, Sideswipe's color scheme (red upper torso and arms, blue thighs and feet, and white legs) is a combination not used on any of Sideswipe's toys or fictional appearances to date.

Real-world references

[edit]
  • The aforementioned factory headquarters also features a conveyor belt with numerous boxes bearing the Hasbro logo.
