When the Rescue Bots need to move some mountains or clear some debris in a hurry, they look to the Jackhammer, a self-propelled jackhammer assembly, to get the job done.

The Jackhammer vehicle consists of a large jackhammer mounted atop a self-propelled trike chassis with a rear deck for Walker to stand on. Pressing and releasing the yellow button on top of the mechanism causes the silver and yellow jackhammer to move back and forth in a "pounding" action. Pressing forward on the top of the mechanism causes the jackhammer turn to push forward and a yellow handle to emerge from the bottom so that it can be used as a rescue tool by any of the Rescue Bots, generally Boulder.

It has been reported that for some samples, pushing down on the top of the mechanism when it's in self-propelled vehicle mode may cause the jackhammer to point skyward. The hammering gimmick will still work when it is pointed upward, but the handles are now too low for Walker to grip if he is still standing on the deck.
