Jade Moede is an American comic letterer and occasionally colorist. His last name is pronounced "Maydee". His earliest comics work was lettering on Sgt. Rock for D.C. comics in '85, and he performed lettering duties for Marvel, D.C., and other comic houses throughout the remainder of the 80s and the 90s. He was a regular at Valiant Comics, being the main letterer on Solar: Man of the Atom for all of its 60 issue run, and his work also includes runs on X-O Manowar and The Visitor. Outside the world of comics, he has also created a number of paintings and sculptures, which have been exhibited around America.
