"You wanna play 21? I got 22."

Jake was a guest on Cecilia Santiago's talkshow New York Talks along with Flo Roccoco and Roadhandler. In order to entertain the audience, he acted unimpressed by Roadhandler's anecdotes about crime fighting, and challenged the Micromaster to a wrestling match. Roadhandler took him up on it, and was invited to practice with Jake at Arnie's Gym the next day. It didn't go too well due to Jake's inability to lift a one-ton robot, but the two wrestlers agreed to plan crowd-pleasing theatrics for the actual match. While Jake was originally supposed to win said match, his manager Casanova Brown was convinced by Roadhandler's manager to let the Micromaster win. Jake didn't seem to mind.

When the wrestling match rolled around with great fanfare, Jake did his fair share of acting, and even wielded an actual jackhammer against Roadhandler. While he did throw his opponent out of the ring, he eventually lost out to the Micromaster's transformation and extending arms. The Interplanetary Wrestling Championship!

Notes

[edit]
  • In the rough pencil layouts for "The Interplanetary Wrestling Championship!", seen in the Transformers: Last Stand Titan Books trade collection, Jake is identified as "Max". Maybe he was originally...uh, Max the Maxhammer.
