Jean Claudio

Jean Claudio (March 28, 1927 - January 11, 1992) was a French actor and voice actor. His lengthy career spanned approximately 50 years, during which he appeared in many French and American productions. He notably starred in several American series from the 1980s including The Avengers, Magnum, P.I. and Hart to Hart.

In the world of voice acting, he was the French voice of King Zarkon and Coran in the original Voltron series, Miles Mayhem in M.A.S.K. and Spirit in G.I. Joe : A Real American Hero. He was also the voice of Clive Revill's original Emperor Palpatine in The Empire Strikes Back before it got replaced with Ian McDiarmid and therefore re-dubbed with the latter's regular French voice.
