Jigsaw Puzzle (Kabaya)

Among the many candy toys they have produced for the Transformers brand, Japanese confectionery company Kabaya has more than once turned their hand to jigsaw puzzles. Sold with candy items, these different lines of puzzles were available during the Generation 1 and Super Link eras.
Puzzles
[edit]The Transformers
[edit]The original line of Kabaya jigsaws consisted of two series of five puzzles each, which were printed on both sides. Side "A" depicted an animation-inspired drawing, while side "B" featured a painted illustration in the style of the toys' package art, and was part of a panorama that could be formed by collecting all five puzzles and lining them up side by side.

The puzzles were packed with chocolate candies and a "decoder" strip that would reveal a hidden image printed in the seemingly-empty space on each of the puzzles' "A" sides.
Super Link
[edit]
Kabaya revisited the jigsaw concept for the brand's twentieth anniversary, releasing a new series of ten double-sided puzzles in January 2004. {{ #if: {{#ifexpr: 2 }}

In addition to those puzzles dedicated to him, Grand Convoy also appears in the background of every puzzle. Each fifteen-piece puzzle was sold in an individually marked box with fizzy "Ramune" candy.
