Fiction

S.T.A.R.S. pack-in flyers

[edit]

Johnny was the focus of two S.T.A.R.S. recruitment messages sent by the Autobots to human allies. The messages told his story: Johnny was at home one night when the power mysteriously went out, and he immediately raced to his rooftop telescope, ignoring his parents calling out for him. He spied a strange light rising to the sky to meet a jet whom he recognized as Thundercracker. He knew what to do: activate his S.T.A.R.S. Command Center and alert the Autobots. Then sure enough, Sunstreaker, Ratchet, Mirage, and the Omnibots converged from multiple locations in response to his signal. Have the Decepticons defeated us once and for all?

But as he was about to issue orders, his Command Center went dead and the walls began to shake. Fearful moments passed as he jabbed at the console ineffectually. Then it suddenly reactivated, displaying only the words "CODE RED". The Autobot dispatch stated that Johnny's only hope would be for a new S.T.A.R.S. member to step in and, presumably, continue the Autobot co-ordination efforts. Can one boy, alone, hold back the evil Decepticons?
