Julien Fébreau

Julien Fébreau (b. December 26, 1982) is a French sports journalist and pilot.

Julien firstly worked on several TV and radio channels, always specialized in Formula 1. During his years on RMC from 2005 to 2009, he also covered 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Dakar Rally. From 2010 to 2012, he becomes the Formula 1 specialist for sports magazine L'Équipe.

Since 2013, he has been the official commentator of Formula 1 on the French television channel Canal+ alongside Jacques Villeneuve, world champion 1997 of the Formula One World Drivers' Championship.

Julien Fébreau utters the same sentence at the start of each Grand Prix: "Montez le volume, et rendez-vous au premier virage !" ("Turn up the volume, and see you at the first turn!").

  • At the beginning of the race in Transformers One, he managed to place a variation of his catchphrase, saying "Rendez-vous au premier freinage !" ("See you at the first braking!").
  • Julien Fébreau was present at the French premiere of Transformers One in Paris on October 13th, along with Adrien Antoine, Baptiste Marc, Philippe Lacheau, Audrey Fleurot and Pauline Brunel.
  • During the behind the scenes video (link below), he was asked which Formula 1 pilots would the Transformers One characters be. According to him:
