Karen Peterson

Karen Peterson is an American animation director. She started out at Filmation in the 70s, animating on Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, The New Archie/Sabrina Hour, Flash Gordon and Super Friends. She also worked for Hanna Barbera on Smurfs. In the mid-'80s she started directing and did so on Inhumanoids, My Little Pony 'n Friends, The Transformers, Muppet Babies and Jem. She has continued to work in the animation field as a timing director, more recently on shows including The Batman, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Loonatics Unleashed.
