Katherine Lawrence
Katherine Lawrence was the pen name of Kathy Selbert (December 11, 1954 - March 25, 2004), an American freelance writer of books, video games and episodes of various television series. Usually responsible for an episode per series, she has contributed to, among others, G.I. Joe Extreme, Dungeons & Dragons, Muppet Babies, and the Mainframe Entertainment shows ReBoot and Shadow Raiders. She also wrote one episode for Beast Wars called "A Greater Ape", but it was never produced because it would have required too many new models.
Kathy Selbert suffered from chronic fatigue syndrome and resulting depressions. With no immediate access to health care and her work, which she was devoted to, garnering less and less interest, she disappeared on March 24, 2004. Her body and a suicide note were found three days later along the San Pedro River in Arizona.
