Katua Adle

Katua Adle is a human from the Battle of the Star Gate portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Katua Adle (カチュア・アドル Kachua Adoru) is the daughter of military scientist Professor Adle. Like her father, she deeply respects the Autobots, recognizing them not as mere robots, but true living creatures. She is particularly fond of Ratchet.

The Battle of the Star Gate

When an accidental explosion during a field test of one of the professor's inventions left both Katua and her father badly wounded, medical science could do nothing to help them. Katua lost her right leg, while the professor lost his right arm, but hope was not lost: the advanced science of Cybertron held the key to their salvation. Ratchet was able to provide them with prosthetics so advanced that they could feel pain and warmth through them as if they were their real limbs, an act that left the grateful Katua infatuated with the Autobot medic.

Around six months after the accident, when her father invited a group of Autobots to participate in the test run of his new C-X drone, Katua watched the proceedings from the top of a nearby hill through binoculars, hoping to catch a glimpse of Ratchet. The medic was not among the Autobots attending, but that was far from the worst thing about the test: the C-X drone began running amok, and once Optimus Prime had subdued it, a crowd of human protestors that had been watching turned on the Autobots. The Autobots tried to convince the humans that they would destroy all the weapons their technology had helped to create once the Decepticons were defeated, but the lead protestor refused to believe the word of a metal monster. At that moment, Katua came running up, and loudly proclaimed her belief in Prime's words. When the protestors asked her how she could, she shamed them by revealing her bionic leg and explaining that the Autobots must truly knew human sensations if they could recreate them so. Prime thanked Katua for her kind words, and promised to pass them on to Ratchet. Divided Views Activation

A few months later, when the Transformers were all caught in a huge explosion during a battle in space, Katua sadly watched from a hilltop as their bodies came tumbling through Earth's atmosphere, burning up as they went. The Battle of the Star Gate
