Keiji Fujiwara
Keiji Fujiwara (藤原啓治 Fujiwara Keiji, born October 5, 1964 - April 12, 2020) was a Japanese voice actor who was a member of [[wikipedia:{{#if:ja|ja:}}AIR AGENCY|{{#if:||AIR AGENCY}}]]. He was best known for roles such as Maes Hughes in the Fullmetal Alchemist franchise, Satan in Blue Excorcist, Shuchi Aiazawa in Death Note, Yamma in IGPX: Grand Prix, Ali "Gary Biaggi" Al-Saachez in Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Tatsuya Kimura in the Fighting Spirit series, Hiro Nohara in Crayon Shin-chan, Leorio Paladiknight in Hunter X Hunter, Jake Martinez in Tiger and Bunny, and Esidisi in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. His video game credits include Reno in various Final Fantasy VII spinoffs, Axel/Lea in the Kingdom Hearts series, Mewtwo in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS/Wii U and Ultimate, and Signit in the Metal Gear Solid series.
In the world of dubbing, Fujiwara also performed the voice of The Joker in The Dark Knight, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Batman: Arkham Knight, Shaggy Rogers in the live-action Scooby-Doo duology, Lord Shen in Kung Fu Panda 2, Pohatu in Bionicle: Mask of Light: The Movie, Quinlan Vos in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, James "Sawyer" Ford on Lost, Niles Crane on Frasier, and Iron Man in both the Marvel Cinematic Universe films and Marvel Anime: Iron Man. Fujiwara had served as the main dub voice of Robert Downey Jr. since dubbing him in Iron Man until his passing in 2020, he was also a recurring dub voice for Matthew McConaughey, Adam Sandler, Tony Leung, Christian Slater, Matthew Broderick, Eric Bana and Guy Pearce.
Fujiwara also dabbled a bit as a sound director, sound directing for projects like Cool and Cute Declaration!, Seriously Otaku English! Ribbon-chan: Magical Girl Who Fights in English, Angel Drop, Pupipou! and Sky Galleon of the Azure Sky.
He was dreamy.
Fujiwara passed away on April 12, 2020 at the age of 55, due to cancer.
