Sergeant Keroro gets the change of his life when he meets with Starscream.
Synopsis
[edit]Keroro and his comrades have summoned Starscream to offer him the option of being his "No. 2" in exchange for helping the Keron Army in invading "Pekopon". Starscream, ever the proud, violently dismisses the prospect of being anybody's "No. 2". But the Kerons were prepared for this outcome and pull out the "Oozon", a suction machine that sucks out Starscream's energy and super robot lifeform data. With it, Keroro plans to create copies of Starscream... as his No. 2 soldiers. Again furious at being reduced to number 2, Starscream breaks the Oozon. With nothing containing Starscream's energy, it flies into Keroro, producing an amazing change in the alien. Sensing a "cube" inside himself, Keroro transforms into Keroroscream, to the shock of Starscream!

Notes
[edit]- This comic is of course a crossover with the manga series Keroro Gunsō, released as [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Sgt. Frog|{{#if:||Sgt. Frog}}]] in English, tying in with the promotional Starscream Keroro Ver. toy included with the same issue.
- Dororo, the fifth member of Keroro's platoon, does not appear in the comic. However, he does appear as a sticker included with the magazine that can be applied to the aforementioned Starscream toy. Other Keroro characters appearing only as stickers include Natsumi and Aki Hinata, Momoka Nishizawa, Koyuki Azumaya, and Angol Mois (poor Fuyuki got the shaft).
- A note at the end of the comic states that "This story is only fiction..." Take that as you will.
- The Keroro Gunsō anime had previously featured an extended Transformers homage in the 2008 episode "Toilet, Now, We Strike!" The episode features the Kerons turning Earth's toilets into "Toiletformer" robots that eventually gain sentience and go rogue, with their leader both modeled after Optimus Prime and voiced by Tesshō Genda.
