Kick Axe

Kick Axe is a Canadian heavy metal band. Under the name Spectre General (the reasons for this change are unclear), they contributed two songs to the The Transformers: The Movie soundtrack; "Nothin's Gonna Stand in Our Way" and "Hunger", the former being a cover of a slightly older song by John Farnham. The latter was written by Kick Axe and covered by the band King Kobra, who released their version first. Confused yet?

Notes

[edit]
  • During a BotCon 2010 panel, one of the Hasbro employees revealed that Kick-Axe was a possible name for Chopster.
