As part of a Decepticon plot to decrease Jinchōkon, doctors were kidnapped and brought to Atlan Island, where the Pretenders kept them under guard. The doctors were eventually rescued by the Godmasters. However, Ginrai explained that they needed to transport Rhodan immediately, as an ill girl required his expertise.
