Revenge of the Fallen novelization

After William Lennox's team bailed out of their cargo plane over Egypt, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Morshower wanted to know what was going on over there. His satellite surveillance told him that all was well, but the communication black out made him suspicious. He contacted the Jordanians and General Fassad of Egypt for assistance. He wanted Jordan to contribute air assets to the search.

Minister Marouf approached the king with Morshower's request. The king agreed to give the needed assistance, but told Marouf to keep an eye on the Americans. Revenge of the Fallen (novel)
