Korogi '73
Korogi '73 (こおろぎ'73 Kōrogi Nanajū-san) were a Japanese [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}backing vocalist|{{#if:backing vocals|backing vocals|backing vocalist}}]] group best known for their contributions to the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Super Robot|{{#if:||Super Robot}}]] series and Toei's [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Super Sentai|{{#if:||Super Sentai}}]] series. The group was disbanded after 1990.
The Japanese word kōrogi (こおろぎ) means "cricket". The band originally wanted to call themselves the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Rhaphidophoridae|{{#if:Toilet Crickets|Toilet Crickets|Rhaphidophoridae}}]] (便所こおろぎ Benjo Kōrogi), but wisely decided against it. They had intended to only be together from 1972–73, thus "Korogi '73".
They performed the ending theme to Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers: Victory, "Cybertron Banzai".
