Krake is a member of Cobra from the G.I. Joe portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

As the Cobra Commander known to the public, Krake's likeness was adapted by the screenwriter Thundercracker for the appearance of Cobra Commander in his Chuckles biopic. Starscream: The Movie

Notes

• Krake was introduced by IDW Publishing in 2011's "{{#if:||Cobra Civil War}} story arc as a candidate to become the new Cobra Commander. (Yes, even evil totalitarian paramilitary cabals have some meritocracy.) He proceeded to terrorize the world in the next year's "{{#if:||Cobra Command}}" story arc before disappearing off-panel in between {{#if:||G.I. Joe vol. 3}} and {{#if:||G.I. Joe vol. 4}}, with Tomax Paoli having assumed control over Cobra in the latter series. Krake then abruptly resurfaced for a cameo in Unicron #3, as depicted in this page's image.
