Kurt Hathaway is an American comics letterer. He has lettered thousands of comics for D.C., Marvel, Dark Horse and Image. He was part of the core of Image Comics, writing and editing many of their titles, in addition to providing lettering. He also founded Cartoon Balloons Studio, which provides fonts, lettering, and graphic design for comics and other applications. A D.C. Comics editor nicknamed him the "Comics Commando", for his ability to meet deadlines.
