Located on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, the Labná ruins are a Mesoamerican site of great historical importance. In a cavern beneath a hill lies evidence of the Natiltec tribe from three thousand years ago, who encountered strange beings who turned into lizards, mammals and insects of varying types, as well as a recording from the Maximal Rhinox.

Fire in the Dark

[edit]

A joint United States-British expedition led by doctors Jessica Theist and Carter Sanford were exploring the ruins when an accident on the part of Ransack, one of the Mini-Cons they had with them, caused Theist to tumble into the cave containing the Natiltec pictographs. With the aid of Laserbeak they were able to decode and translate some of the text, revealing the story of what had happened there 3,000 years before. Sanford was delighted at the find, predicting fame and fortune... and years of work to follow, painstakingly examining the site. Fire in the Dark
