The Linkage (リンケージ Rinkēji) is a dimension formed from the minds and souls of all "free" Mini-Cons. Though it is similar to the Allspark in many ways (it too acts as the repository of their souls, where they lose individuality and diffuse into the multitude), it is not the same, formed from the connection of the Mini-Cons' unique lifeforces, their Digital Entity Frames. All Mini-Cons, even those within storage panels, are part of the Linkage, an ocean of thought that connects them so closely data can be sent through it, and it can can be entered to even locate other souls within its depths. Though his presence looms over it, the Linkage is beyond the terrible one's ability to directly affect.

After an encounter with the Magnawing, Twirl's Mini-Con storage panel had been destroyed. Linkage Part 6 In order to bring her back, Falcia teamed up with Redline, who used equipment aboard his ship, to plug cables into their Powerlinx ports, entering the pair's souls into the Linkage dimension. There, they freed Twirl's spirit into the physical realm, activating her consciousness and materializing her before everyone's eyes. After extensive study of a damaged Fixer Bug in their possession and running scans of the Aqua Raider Team during battle, Redline learned all he needed in order to upgrade every free Mini-Cons' Spark Frame to unlock the Master Key. Putting his knowledge to use during the battle, Redline gained full access to his dormant powers. Linkage Part 9 The Aqua Raider Team then released the power hungry Ravenus, forcing Redline to hastily enter the Master Key into the Linkage for Combusta and every other Mini-Con to unlock their powers. Linkage Part 10 With Redline's friends' powers unlocked, they activated the other Mini-Con panels across the planet, pre-loading the Master Key into them through the Linkage. Linkage Part 11 Having unlocked all of their powers through the coding in the Linkage dimension, every Mini-Con gathered in space to aid in the battle with the Autobots against Unicron.
