Loudmouth is a product of Hyperdynamix. It's equipped with the absolute latest in stealth technology and can change its color to blend in with its surroundings. It can change forms, and can even deliver an electric shock capable of knocking out a full-sized human. It also has a bit of a mouth on it, hence the name Reverb has given it.

Douglas Porter had the MP3 player with him when he visited the NEST Rapid Response Base and "accidentally" left it there. Under guidance from Simon Clay, the drone infiltrated the chamber in which the Decepticon Reverb was being held prisoner. Communicating with Reverb at a pitch inaudible to humans, it reactivated Reverb's sonic cannon so he could use it to blast his guards. After shocking the two remaining guards into unconsciousness, the drone helped Reverb free himself. Once it informed him of a cache of Cybertronian weapons at Battle Mountain and the fact that Gears would be there, Reverb set off with the drone to take a look for himself. Battle Mountain

Irritated by the device's constant chatter, Reverb took to calling it "Loudmouth", though it objected to the name. While Reverb lived in the abandoned mine he and Simon Clay were using as a hideout, Loudmouth hung out on his shoulder, wisecracking and reminding him how he'd been freed by the small drone. Reverb's irritation at having to deal with the humans bossing him around eventually grew to the point at which he opted to crush Loudmouth, destroying the drone. Satellite of Doom
