Notes

[edit]
  • The name-dropped Shadowhawk and Marauder in Optimus Prime #25 are likely references to the tabletop wargame [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}BattleTech|{{#if:||BattleTech}}]]. John Barber had looked into licensing a BattleTech comic book run at IDW Publishing in 2013, and the Shadow Hawk and Marauder are two extremely iconic Battlemechs. The fact that neither character is pictured is another potential reference, as the original artwork for both mechs was removed from the game in the 1990s due to a lawsuit over copyright violation.
