Mario was out fishing with Mr. Levy when a giant robot shark momentary surfaced with four Rescue Bots clinging to it. Deep Trouble

The ferry was on its way to the island during a particularly nasty winter storm when the container it was carrying broke loose. Mario jumped onto the container, presumably to secure it, but the container fell overboard with him on it. He was forced to cling atop the container until the rescue team found him, and Kade pulled him aboard Heatwave. Sadly the container itself sank, taking the town's Midwinter Morning presents with it. Mario had to abandon ship when a right whale decided to try to board the ferry, and was again rescued by Kade and Heatwave. Odd Bot Out When Griffin Rock suddenly vanished, Mario ended up in the sea and had to be rescued by High Tide. Now and Then He attended an ill-fated Brash Ball game which ended when the Insta-adium deflated. Part-Time Heroes
