Marko

Marko is a human from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Marko is the red-haired one.

Marko is a thug in the employ of Jake Lomax.

Whitey and Marko were sent to kill Joey Slick for outstanding debts accumulated in horse racing using Lomax's money. Joey was hunted down to a sewer drain, where he found a gun. Joey attempted to use the gun on his assailants, but it proved unresponsive. The duo mocked the hapless man, asking the gun to shoot them, which it did of its own violation.

Somehow they survived, and limped back to Lomax, who chewed them out for letting a loser like Slick evade them. Marko and a gang ambushed Slick in his apartment, but Slick managed to run to the roof and shot the water tower on the roof to knock out the gang, including Marko.

Yet again, Marko survived the ordeal and was back in Lomax's presence after Slick made it big as a gangster using his special gun. Marko was ordered to confront Slick when he arrived at Lomax's mansion, only to be blasted away yet again. Shooting Star!
