Master Mouth

Master Mouth is an alien from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family. He is also known as Mister Mouth, Mister Master, and "Your Mouthship".
Master Mouth is the giant red fanged ball with a head crest. Yes, he's just as goofy as he looks.

Master Mouth is the leader of the Mecannibals' trading party near Grand Central Space Station. (As no other group of Mecannibals is known, he may be the leader of the whole race.) He can be distinguished from other Mecannibals by his crest. A bit of a drama queen, he is also noted for being a fair trading partner, and for liking to make deals and eat at the same time. He seems to be under the impression that watching some poor robot being messily eaten alive will make his trading partners more agreeable. He might be right.

Master Mouth and his kin entered business partnership with the Nebulans Hi-Test and Throttle, unaware that the pair were Powermaster partners to the Decepticons Dreadwind and Darkwing. These two would deliver robots to the Mecannibals for a commission, with whatever was leftover after the Mecannibals' meals getting sold on the black market for a profit. Through this arrangement, Master Mouth was brought the Autobot Sky Lynx. Before he could get around to eat him though, the Nebulans also brought to his ship two potential customers: Cloudburst and Landmine. Thanks to their Pretender shells, the two Autobots were able to fool all others into thinking that they were organics. Unwilling to do business on an empty stomach, Master Mouth sent for a Chromite to serve as his appetizer, messily devouring him before telling his buyers that they would talk over the main course.

When Sky Lynx was brought out on a platter, Landmine created a diversion, using his ability to operate his inner robot independently from his Pretender shell to do so. He fooled Master Mouth into thinking that he was being attacked by a robot wholly unrelated to his customers. Sky Lynx escaped, but Master Mouth didn't let his frustration get in the way of completing the deal at hand. Landmine and Cloudburst bought 500 million high-quality chips and then were promptly told to get out. Peeved over the whole incident, Master Mouth decided to cut Hi-Test and Throttle's commission in half. A while later, the Nebulans were able to get back in Master Mouth's good graces by discovering the true robotic nature of the Pretenders. Pleased at getting another chance at dinner, Master Mouth arranged for the Nebulans to bring him the Autobots, to whom he announced they had some "unfinished business" to attend to. Guess Who the Mecannibals Are Having for Dinner?

Cloudburst and Landmine were held down by a powerful magnetic field as Mastermind extracted their inner robots from their shells. Though the Mecannibal thought the Autobots were helpless while in his grasp, the pair once more made use of their ability to remote-control their Pretender shells to fight back. Despite their best efforts though, the Autobots were still outnumbered by Mastermind's brood, and couldn't win through brute force. Cloudburst tried reasoning with Master Mouth instead, insisting that as they were now, the Autobots would make for a lackluster snack. He suggested that with the right ingredients, such as mercury sauce, lead sulfide crystals, and iron filings, the Autobots could be turned into a much more satisfying gourmet meal. Unable to pass up on such a succulent suggestion, Master Mouth agreed to let the Autobots go to gather up the one ingredient they were missing. Berko, a friend of Sky Lynx, would be held ransom as insurance of their return. Should the recipe Cloudburst suggested prove tasty, he would be spared, though Landmine would still be consumed. Despite Throttle and Hi-Test insisting that the Autobots had tricked Master Mouth, Cloudburst and Landmine returned, as they had promised. However, the Autobots modified their deal before Master Mouth got to eat anyone; during their absence, they had captured Hi-Test and Throttle, and threatened to have Sky Lynx terminate them should the Mecannibals lay a fang on them. Seeing his robot-spotters as too valuable to forfeit, Master Mouth agreed to let both Autobots go. The Autobots also insisted that all of the Mecannibals' previous victims be rebuilt, even if it came at the expense of the microchips they had purchased. Master Mouth agreed to this term as well.

Before they left, the Autobots let Master Mouth in one more piece of information they had come across during their absence: that their robot-spotters were themselves partly robotic! Enraged at the deception, the Mecannibals began to chase after their now former business partners. Recipe for Disaster!

King Grimlock

Cybertron had signed a peace treaty with Master Mouth at one point, one that Optimus Prime intended to honor by shipping the rogue Mecannibals who attacked Cybertron to Nebulon Station. Grimlock the Rebel
