Maythe Guedes
María Teresa Guedes Medina (also credited as Maythe Guedes) (born October 27, 1970 - November 5, 2025) was a Venezuelan voice actress, professional singer, musician, composer and sound technician. She is one of the most prolific voice actresses of the country, and as such, she has dubbed over many characters, both female and male. Some of the examples of the female characters she voiced include Stormy from Winx Club, Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond from Steven Universe, Jazzi from The Save-Ums!, Ember McClaine from Danny Phantom, Abby Lee Miller from Dance Moms, Laura Hellsing from Hellsing, Kaoru Ujie from GetBackers, Julie Smockford from Pelswick, Pulsar from Megas XLR, Lin Xiao Li from Black Cat, Gwen Wu from Mighty B!, Serena and Julie from 6teen, Okoi from Basilisk, Catwoman in various DC animated productions from 2004 onwards, Rose in both Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Florrie from Fimbles (alongside fellow Venezuelan voice actors Melanie Henríquez, Ezequiel Serrano, and Rolman Bastidas), Francine from Fanboy and Chum Chum and Athena from Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty.
She didn't just voice female characters, though, she also voiced some male characters or characters with infantile voices, examples of those voices include Tucker "Tuck" Carbunkle from My Life as a Teenage Robot, the eponymous character from Jacob Two-Two, Robert the Robot from Dora the Explorer, Xiao-Long from Gawayn, Keeko from Tak and the power of Juju, Toasty in both The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue and The Brave Little Toaster goes to Mars, Carl Foutley from As told by Ginger, Steven from Wayside: The Movie, Snuffy from Jay Jay the Jet Plane, Ned from The Koala Brothers, and Sleepy Bear from Boo!.
She died on November 5, 2025 due to cervicouterine cancer.
She was the mother of fellow Venezuelan voice actor Ricardo Sorondo.
