Mech Soldier
Mech Soldier (メカ戦士 Meka Senshi) was the name given to a small Takara toyline based around tiny cheap transformable cars—concurrently available alongside the much bigger Diaclone and Micro Change toylines but, as far as we're aware, tying into neither—which would eventually become the Mini-spies in the original Transformers toyline.
These toys were powered by a friction motor, with each mold being available in either blue or red. They were sold on retail in a small cardboard stand for a suggested MSRP of ¥480 per unit (around ~ 4.60 USD in 2026 when adjusted for inflation).
