Suki, is there a way to change the new search stuff so it isn't the very last thing to load? As of now, it's stuck at the default until everything else (including the Google ads) load. --FortMax 20:34, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

I believe she already answered this question on the main talk page, and the answer is no :( --FFN 22:32, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Anyone else who is more knowledgeable on either AJAX or the inner workings of our host is absolutely free to chime in, but if there's a way to do it, I'm not aware. But I suspect there isn't, since I use methods similar to Wookieepedia's old one, and that was done with the help of someone at Wikia. It's unfortunate. --Suki Brits 16:40, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
I'm requesting that to code located at MediaWiki talk:Common.js/uploadpreview be added to the common.js file. It's a MediaWiki script used for previewing a page in the 'file upload' dialog.
It's been tested by several users, on multiple browsers for a period of one month, with no reported conflicts. It's pure Javascript-- no further modification or accommodation of the MW software is required... it just works. -Derik 12:16, 12 June 2009 (EDT)
