Looks a bit inconsistent to put the whole of Prime and Rescue Bots' titles but just "Windblade" for her comic. Transformers: Windblade would easily fit and would be more clearly about the comic rather than the character. --flicky1991 04:44, 18 May 2014 (EDT)
- I feel like it needs a "Comics" subheader, though then we'd need Cartoons and Films subheaders, which seems like it'd be overkill. --abates (talk) 05:28, 18 May 2014 (EDT)
- To be honest, my vote would be to drop Prime, since the cartoon ended seven months and it's been supplanted as the 'main line' by AOE, and then have everything without the 'Transformers:'. Can the links be italicised? That would make it clearer they're the titles of things. Jalaguy (talk) 06:30, 18 May 2014 (EDT)
So, Windblade's over. I was thinking we could swap out that link for Transformers vs. GI Joe (or maybe Primacy, but TF vs. Joe is the bigger title)? Jalaguy (talk) 05:24, 18 August 2014 (EDT)
- There's nothing stopping us from putting both on, is there? --abates (talk) 05:50, 18 August 2014 (EDT)
GoBots/IDW Hasbro
[edit]Can someone (Abates, probably) please add in our sidewikis here. Escargon (talk) 12:05, 7 May 2018 (EDT)
- Adding to this, I'd recommend giving them their own subsection under the current media section. --Riptide (talk) 12:14, 7 May 2018 (EDT)
Bumblebee (film) to Bumblebee (franchise)
[edit]Shouldn't Bumblebee in the sidebar link to the franchise instead of the film, so the cartoon is included? --notirishman (talk) 22:26, 9 December 2018 (EST)
- No? Bumblebee (franchise) is a nothing of a page, and all the relevant links you would find there are also in the navigation box on the Bumblebee (film) page. Linking the sidebar to the franchise page just makes people have to go through an extra click to get the to the information about the movie that they're probably looking for in the first place. I see no real advantage to it. -Foffy (talk) 23:07, 9 December 2018 (EST)
- Also, what cartoon? - TBR (talk) 23:25, 9 December 2018 (EST)
- Silly me, I meant toyline. --notirishman (talk) 23:32, 9 December 2018 (EST)
- Yeah, I waffled on that, but Bumblebee is a case where the more I thought about it, the more I felt sticking with (film) works better. It's the undisputed centerpiece of the whole thing, the toyline only exists because they were making the movie. Because of that, (film) is a lot more intuitive a marker than (franchise), and you can get to the toyline very easily from the top of the film page. While Cyberverse an RBA are much more "two halves of a whole" deal, so they go to franchise pages (or, RBA will once we get that hashed out. RB was kind of a mess, toywise, for a long time). --M Sipher (talk) 23:39, 9 December 2018 (EST)
