Michael was doing his work discussing pretty actresses with a colleague when he discovered a weird email. He recognized it as something Mainframe would be interested in, so he called him out of a meeting to hand him the printout. Mainframe was indeed impressed and left to work on getting the email translated. On Michael's question if he shouldn't return to the meeting, Mainframe answered that he should take over. G.I.
