Mister Flappy is a bat from the Rescue Bots Academy portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Medix found Mister Flappy in an injured state and took him, and the rest of his bat family, back to the Academy medbay to be nursed back to health, keeping him secret from the other recruits and their teachers. All went well until Medix had to undertake a trip to Cybertron to Ratchet's lab, and opted to take Mister Flappy along with him. Mister Flappy managed to get free, first activating the original Cube and causing it to fly around the lab, and then getting himself stuck in an exploration helmet.

During the demonstration of the echo-location goggles, the noise agitated Mister Flappy, who flew into the testing chamber for the invention, resulting in Hot Shot entering in pursuit. Though the bat was safe, Hot Shot got into trouble and had to be rescued by Medix. Heatwave later persuaded Medix that Mister Flappy was well enough to return to the wild. Medix Steps Up To The Bat
