Morton is a gullible and rather clumsy young man.

Morton was among the people whom Arnold managed to lure into the service of the Kospego, in reality the Decepticon Thunderhoof, and began constructing a space bridge from materials they gathered. Morton and the other followers of the Kospego completed the device, only to be confronted by two more legendary creatures: "Sideswingo" and "Bumbeego". The two newcomers announced that they had come to punish the Kospego, and Morton and the others fled. They later returned to the woods, hoping to find Sideswingo and Bumbeego and Morton clumsily bumped into Arnold, prompting the latter to tell him to "watch the sacred girdle." As the Kospego Commands!
