Orders of soda and pizza from Mozzarella Mike's were frequently delivered to the Blackrock Aerospace Plant to nourish the human slaves under Shockwave. During one delivery, a soldier of the United States military complained about Mozzarella Mike's ability to enter the complex without being attacked while the Army stationed outside couldn't even get near the door despite possessing powerful weapons. Another soldier warned him not to underestimate Mozzarella Mike's as he saw the restaurant's pepperoni-and-onion pie "wipe out an entire platoon".

Inside, one worker demanded his double-sausage pizza while other wanted his diet soda. The beleaguered delivery guy noted he only had two hands. Ferdy noted the apparent kindness of Shockwave keeping them well-fed. The pizza arrived cold, which the enslaved Gabe was annoyed by. Laserbeak summarily fried Gabe's pizza. Shockwave asked whether he wanted Laserbeak to make it even hotter, then ordered the delivery man to deliver Laserbeak with a recorded message to the army. Laserbeak was turned over to Colonel Hawthorne. Brainstorm!
