Mudlubber

Mudlubbers are an animal native to the planet Sifrolicous-5. As the planet has a perpetual wave of water circling it, the mudlubbers have uniquely adapted to this state of affairs. They begin as blubbery land-based creatures, but when exposed to the water, they physically alter their bodies to sprout wings and take to the air.

When the Rescue Bot recruits arrived on the planet, Hoist was the first to encounter one of the creatures and dubbed it a mudlubber. The mudlubbers were friendly, however when the recruits learned of the oncoming wall of water, they set about trying to protect the mudlubbers they'd found by building a wall. They managed to protect all of the mudlubbers bar one, which came in contact with the water and transformed. Realizing their mistake, the recruits demolished the wall of mud, allowing the rest of the mudlubbers to transform as well. Enter the Flood
