Murkdipper

The Murkdipper is a ship from the 2005 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Big Dipper! That's where you got your nickname! I thought your parents just hated you or something.

The Murkdipper is a bloomship that sails the vapor oceans of Spindrift. It is captained by Karrg, with Eeems as first mate.

Shipbuilders obtained Thinkbox from the Realm of Wrecks and used him as the basis of the Murkdipper.

One day, the Murkdipper was sailing in the Howling Blashie and found a terrific catch of vapor eels. Unfortunately, luck was not on their side and they were soon hit by a boilstorm. The boilstorm was intense, damaging the ship and throwing many overboard. To compound the Murkdipper's misfortune, a cloud leviathan used the boilstorm as cover and attacked the ship. Despite Captain Karrg's best efforts, the unstoppable beast threatened to bring down the ship.

Then, suddenly the leviathan exploded, revealing the saviour of the Murkdipper, Galvatron. However, Galvatron was less than interested in the crew and summoned Thinkbox to life with the Darkness. Activated, Thinkbox left with Galvatron, leaving a very confused crew of crab aliens. Heart of Darkness #3
