Mutant Beast Wars

In order to win the Beast Wars, Megatron developed an experimental anti-conversion virus which was supposed to first lock his enemies into beast mode, then eventually lead to their shutdown. When used on a group of Fuzors, it had drastic unintended side-effects, creating the Mutants. The Mutants were trapped between two ferocious Beast Modes. In addition, they developed powerful extrasensory abilites, making them a potent threat to Megatron. The four Mutants formed their own band of renegades, thus starting the Mutant Beast Wars.
