Negative universe
| This article is about the color-inverted parallel universe from the Generation 1 cartoon. For the universes where the good guys are evil like that one Star Trek episode, see Transformers: Shattered Glass (franchise){{#switch:{{#sub:Transformers: Shattered Glass (franchise)|-1}} | != | .= | ?= | .

The negative universe is an alternate universe that is much like the normal universe except everything is reverse-colored. Even the black holes are "white holes".
Fiction
[edit]The Transformers cartoon
[edit]A Quintesson scientist kidnapped Ultra Magnus, Cyclonus, Wreck-Gar, and Marissa Faireborn to perform psychological experiments on them. His ship with them aboard was pulled into a black hole, sending them to a negative universe. Everyone aboard survived with no ill effects, but the color spectrum was shifted. No one had any desire to explore the newly discovered universe, so they went home by going back into the black hole (a white hole in the negative universe). The Killing Jar
Ask Vector Prime
[edit]Vector Prime clarified that while physical attributes in negative universes are altered, these universes are not "Negative Polarity" universes as they are changed on an axis that does not align to spark resonance. Ask Vector Prime, 22/5/2015
Notes
[edit]- Although colors are supposedly inverted in the negative universe (as seen in the example of a white hole), the characters colors are simply chosen at random, rather than the proper inverted colors they would be.
