[edit]The neuro-control helmet appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
As part of a deal with Wheeljack for the technology that built Jetfire so that Wheeljack could repair his injured comrades, Ravage gave the Autobot the neuro-control helmet so that Jetfire could be brainwashed back to the Decepticon cause. Wheeljack brought the helmet and struggled with himself whether it was right for him to apply the helmet to Jetfire. In the end, he decided not to. ...Perchance to Dream
