With the old Cybertron having turned into a despotic god and then been destroyed by Gaea, the survivors of both the negative polarity Cybertron and the Classicsverse Earth were left homeless. To rectify this, Gaea transformed herself into a new world teeming with resources for them all to co-exist upon, a New Cybertron for a new era of peace.
But it never ends.

After the Shroud, negative polarity versions of Primus and Unicron were born, with the Lord of Order being awakened from his slumber as the planet Cybertron. When Primus attacked the dimensionally displaced Classicsverse Earth, Gaea was forced to erupt from within and do battle with her dark brother. With the help of the Knights of Unicron, Primus was destroyed. The aftermath of this battle left the inhabitants of both former worlds displaced and without a home.
Having fulfilled her purpose, Gaea reformatted herself into a new Cybertron and invited all Cybertronians to live on her surface in harmony. Primus' disembodied head came to orbit this new world, with the scattered remains of his body forming a planetary ring. Thanks to Gaea's Rarified Energon, this new world had an overabundance of energy and copious resources for the new population to share. A council of heroic Decepticons and Autobots were appointed to govern the new world, with the Knights of Unicron serving as their guardians, while the Acolytes of Unicron served as emissaries between the council and the gods, Gaea and Unicron.
Most of the population of former warring factions had laid down their weapons and eagerly embraced the new future that New Cybertron offered, a return to the Golden Age, a world of cooperation and peace. But where most found harmony, others found opportunity in the society's perceived weakness... The Future Buried...

The region known as New Kaon became something of a haven for the criminals of the planet, including the Megatron of the Classicsverse. While the council was preoccupied with Megatron's actions and the reports of Rodimus in the Skuxxoid Cluster, Grimlock had summoned the Acolytes of Unicron, demanding to speak with Gaea. After being escorted to the core of New Cybertron, he spoke with her about the need for humans' positive influence. Gaea revealed that they had been transported to a world where humans had never existed, where they would be safe, and that New Cybertron did not need them. The future was bright and the few remaining clouds would soon be lifted, until all are gone. Divination

Notes
[edit]- Primus' disembodied head orbiting New Cybertron calls back to Unicron's head orbiting the original Cybertron within various Generation One continuities.
- New Kaon's existence on New Cybertron implies that other similar polities, such as a "New Iacon", are likely to exist.
- Gaea's depiction as a giant face in the core of New Cybertron references how Primus appeared in the core of Cybertron in the Marvel The Transformers comics.
- A street on New Cybertron depicted in The Future Buried... features a sign with a unique combined Autobot/Heroic Decepticon insignia displayed upon it. Possibly a representation of the new government.
