Based in Japan, the New Energy Resource Research and Development Laboratory (新エネルギー研究所 Shin Enerugī Kenkyūjo) is devoted to the task of finding new sources of energy. There, new minerals from all over the galaxy are analysed and studied for potential energy benefits.

Victory cartoon

[edit]

Hellbat invaded the laboratory on a stealth fact-finding mission, however his activities attracted the attention of one foolhardy scientist who went to investigate. The scientist was startled by Kōmoribreast, and subsequently put to sleep by Hellbat's hypnotic waves, but not before he had the chance to raise the alarm. Hellbat was forced to make his escape, but didn't get far before running into a group of human and Autobot guards. During the resulting fight, one of the Autobot guards fired carelessly, destroying a helicopter and energy storage tanks at the laboratory. Hellbat escaped anyway, leaving the guards asleep and the laboratory smoking.

Star Saber and the other Autobots came to secure and repair the lab, with the Brainmasters laying in ambush for the Decepticons somewhere nearby. Following the inevitable battle, the Autobots retired to the laboratory to continue repairs. The New Warrior - Hellbat

Is the pizza done yet?

The scientists at the lab are highly skilled in their work, which involves zapping crystals with lasers, and doing weird things with electricity arcs.

Autobot guards

[edit]

Due to the fact that the work at the laboratory is highly attractive to the Decepticons, the contingent of humans guards is supplemented by two (or possibly more) Autobot guards. So far they've done more damage to the laboratory than the Decepticons, so well done on that score.
