The newlyweds were on a cruise ship for their honeymoon. While the husband was videotaping the wife, the ship was attacked by the Decepticons. After rising from the sea next to the wife, Gilmer tossed the woman overboard, presumably killing her by drowning. The fate of his wife brought the man into such dismay that his glasses shattered. Regardless, the husband continued to record, creating footage of the Decepticon attack. The videotape miraculously survived the burning and sinking of the ship and allowed Hawk to witness the destruction wrought by the Decepticons. Rise Up!! Pretenders
