The Niagara Falls are a set of colossal waterfalls on the Niagara River, straddling the border of the state of New York and the province of Ontario.

Not to be confused with the nearby tourist traps twin cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Niagara Falls, New York, or Niagara Base.

Megatron, freed from his imprisonment, journeyed with his forces to Earth's Niagara Falls searching for Starscream. They were met by several Autobot refugees locking stasis beams onto their warp gate, in order to buy time for Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots to arrive. After reasoning failed, the Autobots engaged the Decepticons in order to prevent Megatron from reaching Starscream and, more importantly, the Omega Lock. The battle resulted in Hot Shot, Red Alert, and Scattorshot taking heavy damage. Revelation

Hot Shot, Red Alert and Scattorshot were evacuated from the area to a nearby military base. The damage was too severe for the base techs to repair, throwing Red Alert into such a state of despair that he gave up all hope. Coby, Bud, and Lori wouldn’t let that happen though, and their encouragement prompted the three Autobots to tell of their memories of Earth, their desire to gain revenge on Megatron and their wish to save Cybertron. These words were heard by Primus, who bathed the Autobots in a bright light that not only healed their bodies, but upgraded them too. The newly-repaired Cybertron Defense Team returned to the falls, blowing Megatron and Scourge away. Critical
